Restoring a backup file on ActivID Appliance

Issue:

Error message when trying to restore a backup file in the ActivID Console.

Solution:

The error occurs if you modify the names of the backup files. By default the names of the files are in the below format.

4TBackup_<hostname>_<yyyy-mm-dd-hh-mm-ss>.tar AND
4TBackup_<hostname>_<yyyy-mm-dd-hh-mm-ss>.xml)

If you have changed the names of the backup files please rename them to the original format and try to perform a restore

For example:

4TBackup_garuda1.local_2014-10-09-11-57-47.tar
4TBackup_garuda1.local_2014-10-09-11-57-47.xml
